Act 1982 (the Act). You have requested information in relation to entry to the 2023 Bachelor of
Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes at
the University of Otago via the Health Sciences First Year (HSFY) category.
Further to our email of 22 December 2022, please see below our response to the remaining parts of
your request.
The 7-paper average minimum and median percentage for both courses for students who
got offers (first and waitlisted) via the General pathway of HSFY (not including sub-
categories).
