Request under the Official Information Act 1982 – Dunedin School of Art Foundation Advisory
Board
Thank you for your email of 3 January 2023 requesting information from Te Pūkenga trading as
Otago Polytechnic, namely:
•
The terms of reference of Advisory Board Member of Dunedin School of Art Foundation
•
Mrs Lynore Anne Farry’s pay rate for her service as an advisory board member.
This letter provides a formal decision on your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA).
Neither Mrs Farry nor the Dunedin School of Art Foundation are affiliated to Te Pūkenga – Otago
Polytechnic. However, I do hold the information and am therefore providing it to you.
The Dunedin School of Art Foundation, disestablished in 2022, was an independent charitable trust
with the privately owned Perpetual Trust Limited as its trustee. While it was in existence, Mrs Farry
served on the Foundation’s Advisory Board in a voluntary capacity and received no remuneration.
Mrs Farry resigned from her voluntary role at the end of 2022 as the foundation was wrapping up.
The terms of reference for the Advisory Board of the Dunedin School of Art Foundation are in part 4
of the Charity Rules, which are publicly available on the Charity Services website here:
https://register.charities.govt.nz/Charity/CC47682
