Thank you for your request made under the Official Information Act, received on 11 
January 2023. You requested: 
1.  A full copy of the report T2020/3411, entitled Treasury Report: Justice baseline 
review final report; and  
2.  Any other baseline reports, other type of report, or analyses, involving 
consideration of referral to legal aid for the years 2018-2022 inclusive; and  
3.  Any other baseline reports, other type of report, or analyses, involving 
consideration of referral to crown, departmental, and police prosecutions, 
whether considered or referred to separately or jointly, for the years 2018-2022 
inclusive.  
Treasury  contacted  you  on  26  January  to  seek  clarification  on  the  interpretation  of 
“consideration of referral.” We look forward to hearing your response to this question.    
In  the  meantime,  I  have  decided  under  section  15A  of  the  Official  Information  Act  to 
extend the time limit for responding to your request by an additional 25 working days. 
The new due date for responding to your request is 20 March 2022.  
The extension is required because your request currently requires a search through a 
large  quantity  of  information,  and  consultation  is  needed  before  a  decision  can  be 
made on your request.  
This extension will also apply to the time limit for transferring your request, should this 
become relevant. 
Notwithstanding  this  extension,  I  will  respond  to  your  request  as  soon  as  reasonably 
practicable.
