Thank you for your email of 6 February 2023 to Hon Grant Robertson, Minister of Finance.
You requested the fol owing under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):

May I ask how did you call for public nomination and on what platform you have call
for public nominations, e.g. govt.jobs website. Also, how many applications you have
received from the public and how many you have received from other nominating
agencies such as TPK or Ministry of women etc. further, how many you have shortlisted
and interviewed.”
On 14 February 2023, your request was transferred to Te Tari Taiwhenua | the Department
of Internal Affairs.
The Trust is currently running a process, as described in its Trust Deed, to identify candidates
that they wish to put forward for consideration by the Minister as part of the wider
appointments process for 2023.
Te Tari Taiwhenua has yet to commence its 2023 appointment process for Community Trusts
and has not received any applications at this point. When it does, you wil be able to find
information about the positions to be filled at www.dia.govt.nz/Appointments-to-Statutory-
Bodies#current.
As the appointment process has yet to commence, I am refusing your request under section
18(e) of the Act as the information does not exist.
You have the right, under section 28(3) of the Act, to seek an investigation and review of this
decision by the Office of the Ombudsman. Information is available on the website
www.ombudsman.parliament.nz. Alternatively, you can phone 0800 802 602 or email
[email address].
We intend to publish our response to your request on www.dia.govt.nz. This letter, with
your personal details removed, will be published in its entirety. Publishing responses
increases the availability of information to the public and is consistent with the Act’s
purpose of enabling more effective participation in the making and administration of laws
and policies and promoting the accountability of Ministers and officials.
