Information Request – Vehicle Fire Southern Motorway  
 
I refer to your official information request dated 14 March 2023 asking for a copy of the Incident 
Report for F3689393, which relates to a vehicle fire that occurred on the Auckland Southern 
Motorway. 
 
In accordance with the provisions of the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA), I enclose the SMS 
Incident Report. Some personal information has been withheld to protect the privacy of natural 
persons under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA. We do not consider that there is a public interest in the 
release of the information which outweighs withholding it. 
 
 
Please note the SMS Incident Report provided to you is generated by Fire and Emergency New 
Zealand’s electronic station management system (SMS Report). In SMS Reports, ‘Notifications’ and
