Dear Jai Ganesh,
Thank you for your email of 18 March 2023 requesting information related to my attendance
at the World Economic Forum.
You requested:
1. Please provide a list of who you had official meetings with at the world economic
forum
2. An itemised cost of the trip
3. Pieces of legislation you have presented or reviewed in the 6 months preceding the
trip and since your return.
Your request has been numbered for ease of response and your request has been
considered under the Official Information Act 1982.
With regard to part 1 of your request, please find attached a copy of my Ministerial Diary
release for travel to Switzerland for the World Economic Forum. This will also be published
on the Beehive website.
For part 2 of your request, this portion is declined under Section 18(d)
– that the information
requested is or will soon be publically available. This information will be published online in
due course as part of a proactive release.
On 14 April my office contacted you to clarify item 3 of your request to:
'Legislation within Minister O'Connor's portfolios that he has introduced to the House, read in
the House, or passed in the House in the time period 17 July 2022 to 18 March 2023.'
As we have not received a response to your request for clarification we have proceeded with
your original wording. This portion of your request is declined under Section 18(d)
