Thank you for your email on 17 April 2023, asking for the following which has been
considered under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act). You have asked a number of
questions about the procurement process for the National Data Platform Design &
Implementation Partner:
1) A list of the companies who submitted a response to the ROI.
2) The date the FIRST respondent was notified they were successfully shortlisted for the
RFP.
3) The date the LAST respondent was notified they were successfully shortlisted for the
RFP.
4) The date the FIRST respondent was notified they were unsuccessful and we’re NOT
shortlisted for the RFP.
5) The date the LAST respondent was notified they were unsuccessful and we’re NOT
shortlisted for the RFP.
6) The number of respondents who were not successful and who have requested feedback
on their ROI response.
7) The date the FIRST respondent was provided feedback on their unsuccessful response.
8) The number of respondents who are stil waiting for feedback.
For the sake of clarity, I wil address each part of your request in turn. Please note, responses were
sent in no particular order to respondents.
1) A list of the companies who submitted a response to the ROI.
This section of your request is refused under section 9(2)(j) as withholding the information is
necessary to enable any public service agency or organisation holding the information to carry on,
without prejudice or disadvantage, negotiations. Once an official award has been made we wil
publish the successful notice on the Government Electronic Tender Service (GETS).
2) The date the FIRST respondent was notified they were successfully shortlisted for the
RFP.
On 24 February 2023, the first respondent was notified that they were successfully shortlisted.
3) The date the LAST respondent was notified they were successfully shortlisted for the
RFP.
On 24 February 2023, the last respondent was notified that they were successfully shortlisted.
4) The date the FIRST respondent was notified they were unsuccessful and were NOT
shortlisted for the RFP.
On 16 February 2023, the first respondent was notified that they were unsuccessful and were not
shortlisted.
5) The date the LAST respondent was notified they were unsuccessful and were NOT
shortlisted for the RFP.
On 20 February 2023, the last respondent was notified that they were unsuccessful and were not
shortlisted.
6) The number of respondents who were not successful and who have requested
feedback on their ROI response.
12 respondents who were not successful have requested feedback.
7) The date the FIRST respondent was provided feedback on their unsuccessful
response.
On 14 March 2023, the first respondent was provided feedback on their unsuccessful response.
8) The number of respondents who are stil waiting for feedback.
There are 10 respondents who are stil waiting for feedback, however this is subject to completion
of the RFP process.
