In response to your Official Information request:
Question 1. LLB Hons acceptance rates.
Fol owing the December 2022 Assessment Board meeting, 29 students received an offer to join the
LLB Honours programme based on their Part II results in 2022.
21 of those students are currently enrolled on AK1009 (Law Honours) in Semester 1. A further two
students subsequently applied and were approved to join the honours programme based on their
Part III results in 2022.
Question 2. Exam grades for LLB Part 2 2022
We have assumed that, rather than exam grades, the requestor is interested in final results
for all students in the LLB Part 2, 2022.
The spread of results is as fol ows:

Question 3. Number of students enrol ed in LLB Part II 2022, who progressed to LLB Part III
2023
There were 348 individual students enrolled in the LLB Part II in 2022. Of these, 181 are
now enrol ed in the LLB Part II (note this does not include the 21 who have transitioned to
the LLB Hons).
Note that enrolments for 2023 reflect year-to-date information only. As such, some part-
time students, or those who have taken a semester off, may not be counted. Other part-
time students may stil be working through the requirements of Part II.
AUT has commenced a curriculum transformation project of the LLB, that will involve
embedding tikanga Māori.
