Thank you for your Official Information Act 1982 (OIA) request of 23 April 2023. You
requested:
I would like the surname and rank for Deborah a police employee who works
at the Wanganui Central Police Station.
She works the night shift.
Your request has been considered under the Official Information Act 1982 and is refused
in full for the following reason:
section 9(2)(a) of the OIA, as the withholding of the information is necessary to
protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased natural persons.
Police considers the interests requiring protection by withholding the information are not
outweighed by any public interest in release of the information.
