I refer to your information request dated 25 April 2023 made under the Official Information Act 1982 
(the Act). You have requested: 
 
“I would like to be provided with the admission statistics for your MBChB and BDS programmes 
offered at the University.  
 
Could you please provide the following information: 
 
1)  The amount of total applicants who applied to the relevant programmes 
2)  A breakdown of the number applicants who applied across the different admission 
categories - HSFY, Alternative and Graduate - to the relevant programmes 
3)  The total number of accepted applicants into programme and the accepted number of 
applicants under each admission categories 
4)  The percentage of accepted applicants into the programme overall and with each 
admission category”. 
 
Your subsequent email on the same day clarified that the above information should be provided for 
the years 2021 to 2023.
