Thank you for your email dated 10 May 2023 requesting the following information under the 
Official Information Act 1982 (the Act):  
 
I am interested in the impact new Kainga Ora developments have on property prices 
in the neighbourhood and suburb where they are built. That impact might be positive 
or negative, and might vary over time. 
 
Can you provide any statistics/reports/projections etc about property prices in 
neighbourhoods and/or suburbs where a new Kāinga Ora development has been 
established? 
 
I am refusing your request under section 18(g)(i) of the Act as the information is not held by 
Kāinga Ora and I have no grounds for believing that the information is held by another 
agency.
