I refer to your information request dated 8 June 2023 made under the Official Information Act 1982 
(the Act). You have requested: 
 
 
“I’d like to request the average and minimum GPA of applicants who got admitted into BoH and 
BDentTech for 2022 and 2023 with all categories seperate.” 
 
 
Subject to the following comments, please see below the information you have requested:

Data is correct as at 16 June 2023. 
• 
On occasions where fewer than five students were admitted under a category and/or sub-
category, we have determined that it is necessary to withhold the Grade Point Average (GPA) 
information for these students to protect their privacy and wellbeing.  We consider that 
withholding this information is necessary to protect against the identity of these students 
being determined or inferred, and their personal information (i.e. their GPA) could be 
disclosed. We therefore withhold this information pursuant to section 9(2)(a) of the Act.  
• 
GPA scores are not required for admission into the Oral Health programmes via the 
Alternative and Secondary School entry pathways.
