Information Request – Seismic assessment
I refer to your official information request dated 19 June 2023 asking for the fol owing
information
.
please provide a response/any information that outlines the timeframe -within which all stations
will obtain a DSA (acknowledging some may not need a DSA due to their size/construction) and
how those DSAs are being prioritised - within which all stations identified as below your identified
threshold of 67%NBS IL4 will be strengthened/replaced and how this work is being prioritised.
Could you also confirm whether there is a process to pro-actively notify the local TA where a station
is identified as less than 34%NBS?
The Official Information Act 1982 (
OIA) requires that we advise you of our decision on your
request no later than 20 working days after the day we received your request. Unfortunately, it
will not be possible to meet that time limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an
extension of the time to make our decision, to 28 July 2023. The reason for the extension is that
consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that a proper response to
your request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
Information about how to make a complaint is available a
t www.ombudsman.parliament.nz or
freephone 0800 802 602.
