Thank you for your two emails of 6 July 2023 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment
requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:
Can I please have the information of What types of Visas were issued by Immigration
Advisors Sandeep Jani Licence Number - 201000535 Hema Jani - Licence Number -
201000529 Riddhish Jani - Licence Number - 201701170 in last 3 years.
Can I please have the information of how many Accredited Employer Work Visas were issued
by Immigration Advisors Sandeep Jani Licence Number - 201000535 Hema Jani - Licence
Number - 201000529 Riddhish Jani - Licence Number - 201701170 in last 1 year.
We wrote to you on 6 July and 10 July seeking clarification of your request. We highlighted in this
correspondence that the way in which your questions were worded would not result in any
information being able to be provided. We indicated we would need to proceed with providing a
response based on the wording of your original request if clarification was not received by the
specified date of 12 July 2023. To date, we have not received any clarification from you.
Our response
Immigration Advisers do not issue visas. They instead represent individual clients in their visa
applications made to Immigration New Zealand. Therefore, we are refusing this request under section
18(e) of the Act as the information does not exist.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of the Ministry’s response
to your request, in accordance with section 28(3) of the Act. Information about how to make a
