INFORMATION REQUEST – Work from Home Rosters
We write in response to your email dated 15 July 2023 in which you requested the following
information:
I kindly request copies of any informal, departmental "work from home" rosters
stored on shared calendars, Teams sites, held by department heads etc across
all  departments  within Tauranga  City  Council  which  show  the  regular  days  in
office for each department staff member. Please redact personal information as
required but I would prefer to keep role or even team within department if that is
recorded in these rosters.
We have considered your request in accordance with the Local Government Official
Information and Meetings Act 1987 (“LGOIMA”) and respond as follows:
Your request is declined under section 17(g) of LGOIMA the requested information is
not held by the local authority and the person dealing with the request has no
grounds for believing that the information is either - (i) held by another local authority
or a department or Minister of the Crown or organisation; or (ii) connected more
closely with the functions of another local authority, or a department or Minister of the
Crown or organisation.
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this decision.
