Dear Grant
Thank you for your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), dated 2 August 2023.
You requested the following information:
“a breakdown of Piritahi's outgoing's since its inception. In particular the revenue of each
alliance company. I would prefer totals but there may be other ways to present the data.”
On August 17, we contacted you to clarify your request and asked that you reply by 21 August. We
also advised that Kāinga Ora does not hold revenue data for the private companies that make up the
LEAD Al iance. No reply has been received.
From December 2018 to the end of July 2023, the total expenditure and value of the work delivered by
LEAD Al iance (formerly Piritahi) was $671.9 million.
Completed works to date include house removal, land remediation, civil design and construction, and
infrastructure upgrades for more than 82 hectares of land, with works on a further 40 hectares of land
currently underway.
The work undertaken by the Al iance across five large-scale projects undertaken by Kāinga Ora in
Auckland, has so far enabled the delivery of more than 4,900 homes, seen the completion of major
stormwater projects in Northcote and Roskil South, and delivered many other infrastructure and
amenity improvements.
