Dear Mr Murdoch
Thank you for your emails dated 4 August 2023 requesting the following information under
the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act):
Can you please provide me with all correspondence between Renee Regal and any
employee of the Ruapehu District Council (Including the Mayor and Council ors )in
connection with the TeiTei Development.
Can you please provide me with all correspondence between Renee Regal of
Kianaga Ora and any person involved with Ngati Rangi in connection with the Tei Tei
Development.
Kāinga Ora has recently published a response to a request under the Act that includes the
information you have requested up until 15 June 2023. The published response can be

Kāinga Ora has considered the remaining part of your request (to the date of your request, 4
August 2023) and has decided to grant your request. This information is currently being
prepared for release. We expect to be able to provide this information by 13 October 2023.
Some information wil be withheld under the following sections of the Act:
9(2)(a) to protect the privacy of natural persons
9(2)(f)(iv) to maintain the constitutional conventions for the time being which protect
the confidentiality of advice tendered by Ministers of the Crown and officials
9(g)(i) to maintain the effective conduct of public affairs through the free and frank
expression of opinions by or between or to Ministers of the Crown or members of an
organisation or officers and employees of any public service agency or organisation
in the course of their duty
Under section 28 of the Act you have the right to seek an investigation and review by the
