Request for Information – Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 
(LGOIMA) 
We refer to your official information request of 10 August 2023, asking for information about 
employees and contractors in the Chief Executive’s office, specifically:  
“Can I please ask, under OIA, total number of permanent employees and total number of 
contractors currently working for the Office of the CE of Hutt City Council and in what 
subgroups. Please give a table with role levels i.e. how many Admin/coordinators, Advisors,  
Sr. Advisors, Principles/chief, managers/leads etc and whether they are permanent or temps. 
I am also requesting the total cost spent on contractors in the same directorate/group between  
1 January 2023 and 31 July 2023.” 
The Of ice of the Chief Executive consists of a number of teams.  Total staf  count is 94 
(excluding contractors and vacant positions).  A breakdown of staff by team as at
