[FYI request #23810 email]
File No: DOIA 2324-0310
Dear A KS,
I refer to your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) received on 13 August 2023
requesting the following information from the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment
(Ministry):
“In my previous request I've requested the guidelines for the following conditions as part of
question 1,
• Cardiovascular diseases
• Diabetes
• Hepatitis B
• Hepatitis C
• Renal failure and dialysis treatment
• urinalysis results
• blood test results,
However, when I checked Appendix A document , it provides the guidelines for cardiovascular
conditions only
I also noted that you mentioned that some documents are being rewritten and currently old.
However, I would like to request the documents for all of these conditions (even if they are
being rewritten or old). My understanding is that documents will still be in use even though
their new versions are being created.
Here is the list of conditions for which I am requesting the guidelines/relevant documents
used by Health Assessment Team HAT team or INZ medical assessors.
The conditions are
• Renal failure and dialysis treatment
• urinalysis results
• blood test results,
• Hepatitis C
Hepatitis B”
On 21 August 2023, you clarified the following:
“I note that APPENDIX A has details of different conditions which I have asked for.
Hence, as part of this OIA could you only provide any documentation that have been
modified/newly added after my previous OIA like any modification to the stuff in the
Appendix A,B or any newly added information?”
