Red Cross Funding  
 
Thank you for your request for official information which we received on 21 August. The 
details of your request and our response are below and attached.  
 
Please provide your funding application that was sent to Red Cross NZ that 
has recently resulted in 2 mil ion dol ars of funding from the Disaster Relief 
fund. 
 
This document is attached. Some information has been withheld to protect information 
supplied in confidence. where the making available of the information would be likely 
otherwise to damage the public interest. - s7(2)(c)(ii) LGOIMA. We have assessed the public 
interest in the availability of this information; however, we do not consider that it outweighs 
the public interest in maintaining the obligation of confidence or the harm likely to be caused 
to the public interest if released.    
 
Please provide al  communications including but not limited emails, texts etc 
with Red Cross NZ relating to this request. 
 
This correspondence is attached.

names and contact details where the information concerns an issue which we consider is one
