Thank you for your email on 25 August 2023, asking for the following which has been 
considered under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
I am writing to request the annual remuneration for the role of “Chief People Officer”, 
or the relevant pay band for that role. I would like the current relevant band and also 
for all years for which this position has existed. 
 
We are unable to provide you with the annual remuneration for the role of the Chief People 
Officer to protect his privacy. Therefore, this part of your request is refused under section 
9(2)(a) of the Act.  
 
We are however able to provide you with the pay band for this role. This information is 
provided in a previous OIA response that was sent on 18 July 2023, which is publicly 
available on our website here:

We consider that this satisfies the public interest in the release of the information you have 
requested under section 9(1) of the Act.
