Thank you for your email of 18 September 2023 confirming that your request of 13 September 2023 is 
for the following information: 
‘. . . your employment policies for your staff related to Covid 19, and for any persons under any 
funding arrangements you have for work being carried out for Kainga Ora, ie c19 policies for its 
Personnel being all directors, employees, subcontractors, third party agents, external 
consultants, specialists, technical support and co-opted or seconded staff for Kainga Ora’ 
 
I am writing to advise you that Kāinga Ora is extending the timeframe for providing you with a 
response to 16 November 2023. This extension is made in accordance with section 15A(1)(b) of the 
Act [consultations necessary to make a decision on your request are such that, under the present 
circumstances, a proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit].  
 
Please note that we will endeavour to provide you with a response as soon as possible within this 
extended timeframe. 
 
You have the right, under section 28(3) of the Act to make a complaint to the Ombudsman about this 
extension. 
 
You have the right under section 28(3) to seek an investigation by an Ombudsman about the decision.
