Official information request regarding staff terminations and Education Council reporting 
I refer to your official information request dated 11 September 2023 for information regarding 
school management or Board of Trustees response to allegations of misconduct. 
Here is the response to your OIA request. 
Q: Can you please provide information regarding if the school management or board of trustees 
(BOT) is aware of any misconduct by staff under part f since 01/01/2019, regardless if a report was 
made. 
A: We have decided to refuse your request under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA as we believe 
withholding is necessary to ‘protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of deceased 
natural persons’. 
Q: If so, did the school management or fulfil its obligation to "immediately report (this) to the 
council" 
A: We can provide assurance that the school board and management have always complied fully 
with the Education Council’s reporting requirements and process when an issue is identified. 
Q: Is the school aware of any other misconduct categorized above taking place since the 
aforementioned date regardless of if a report was made? If so, how many instances is the school 
management or BOT aware of, when were they made aware of it, and under what section did each 
instance fall (categorized above) respective to each date the school was made aware of. 
A: We have decided to refuse your request under section 9(2)(a) of the OIA as we believe
