OFFICIAL INFORMATION REQUEST  
 
I refer  to  your  official  information request  dated  31  October  2023  Number  of  complaints received 
regarding Teitei Drive.  This response also relates to request dated 13 September Q1 complaints 
regarding  the  Teitei  Drive  development  and  supplementary  question  dated  10 October  2023  also 
provide the count of complaints in total council has received (just for council) for the past 12 months. 
 
Ruapehu District Council has received many of enquiries from the public in relation to the Teitei Drive 
development, via Facebook, emails and in person meetings.  Due to the substantial amount of work 
that  would  be  required  to  research,  manually  check  and  collate  what  could  be  considered  as  a 
complaint, we are refusing your request under section 17(f) of the LGOIMA.   
 
You  have  the  right  to  seek  an  investigation  and  review  by  the  Ombudsman  of  this  decision.
