Thank you for your email of 13 October 2023 to Oranga Tamariki— Ministry for Children 
(Oranga Tamariki), requesting information under the Official Information Act 1982 (the 
Act) regarding clause 9 of the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 
2021. 
You have requested:

How many such clause 9 CEO operational exemptions were received?

Please share the breakdown by role within your organization
•
How many were approved, total number of workers affected?
•
A breakdown by the roles for the above approvals in 3 above.
Oranga Tamariki did not receive any applications for exemption under clause 9 of the 
COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021. Therefore, I am refusing 
your request in full under section 18(e) of the Act, on the grounds that the information 
does not exist.
