REQUEST FOR INFORMATION COUNCIL PUBLIC AGENDA 27 SEPTEMBER 2023
Thank you for your Request for Official Information received on 1 March 2024 relating to the
fol owing:
1A) Please confirm no further tests were conducted on council policies or the LGA with
regards to Teitei Drive after 2020.
We have decided to refuse your request for information which relates to your question set
out above under Section 17(f) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act.
The request for information is not specified with due particularity; clarification of the request, for
example the nature of the tests, specific section(s) of the Local Government Act 2002, and specific
Council Policies to which you refer wil enable Council to consider if the request can be granted.
1B) Please confirm that the supporting background provided to Council ors to vote for
the continuance on 27th September 2023 were not specific to Teitei Drive.
We have decided to refuse your request for information which relates to your question set
out above under Section 17(d) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act
as the information requested is publicly available. The supporting background information tabled
at the 27 September 2023 Council Meeting which can be found in the Agenda on Council’s website
in the Council, Community Board & Committee Meetings section Council Meeting 27/09/2023 -
Ruapehu District Council (ruapehudc.govt.nz).
2) For the avoidance of doubt, please confirm each of the fol owing: that council did not
specifical y test Teitei Drive against:
2.1. the LGA,

out above under Section 17(d) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings
Act. The information requested is publicly available as was advised in our response to your official
information request “Request for Public Excluded Information that can now be Released” dated 7
November. Your question 9 refers.
2) For the avoidance of doubt, please confirm each of the fol owing: that council did not
specifical y test Teitei Drive against:
2.3. the ATMS to be rates neutral or rates positive.
2.3. the ATMS to facilitate a rol ing, multi-year housing programme.
2.4. that council ors were not notified of the change in direction in 2021/2022 from a
revenue generating (sale of lots) to a gift or sale (at cost) project. If they were, please
provide evidence.
We have decided to refuse your request for information which relates to your question set
out above under Section 17(d) of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings
Act. The information was previously released to you and advised in our response to your official
information request “Request for Public Excluded Information that can now be Released” dated 7
November. Your questions 21f and 21i refers.
