Response to your official information request
Thank you for your official information request received on 7 November 2023 for
“meeting minutes of Orton Bradley Park Board from 1st Jan 2021 to now. Also the
updated register of each board member's conflict of interest.”
The information you requested is not held by Toitū Te Whenua Land Information New
Zealand (LINZ) and we have no reason to believe that it is held by another agency.
Therefore, we are refusing your request under section 18(g) of the Official Information Act
(OIA).
LINZ do not administer the R O Bradley Estate Act 1972 (a private Act of Parliament) and
have no role in the administration of the park. LINZ’s sole responsibility under the Act is
to provide advice to the Minister for Land Information requesting a recommendation be
made to the Governor-General on the appointment of the Chair. The Chair is appointed
for a term of three years.
