Tēnā koe Yang,
I refer to your information request dated 10 November 2023 made under the Official Information Act
1982 (the Act). You have requested:
“What is pre-conditional offer for international students in HSFY who apply for BDS and MB
ChB?”
We note we emailed you 13 November 2023 to seek clarification of your request. We asked whether
you were interested in either or both of the following information:
• The definition of a pre-conditional offer;
OR
• The minimum and maximum average academic scores to receive pre-conditional offers to the
Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB)
programmes via the Health Sciences First Year (HSFY) category for international students.
As we have not received a response from you to our request for clarification, we have interpreted
your request to be both for the definition of a pre-conditional offer, and the minimum and maximum
average academic scores to receive pre-conditional offers to the 2023 BDS and MB ChB programmes
via the HSFY category for international students. Please see below our response to your request.
