graduates
We refer to your official information request dated 15 November 2023:
“I would like to have the data for:
§
the total number of law students whose first language is non-English in
2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
§
the total number of law graduates whose first language is non-English in
2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
§
the total number of law graduates in 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and
2023.
§
the total number of law students whose nationality is Chinese in 2018,
2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
§
the total number of law graduates whose nationality is Chinese in 2018,
2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 and 2023.”
Information regarding the total number of law graduates, and number of law students and
graduates whose nationality is Chinese is presented in the tables below. We are unable to
provide the information you requested regarding the total number of law students and
graduates whose first language is not English as the University has only recently started
collecting this information from new applicants, and data that represents all students
currently studying Law is currently unavailable. As such, this aspect of your request is
refused in accordance with section 18(e) of the Official Information Act as the information
does not currently exist.
