Thank you for your email of 15 December 2023 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment
(MBIE) requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following information:
I’m requesting any new briefings to Ministers that aren't incorporated in the proactive release
material relating to Fair pay agreements.
I am writing to advise you that MBIE will provide a response but needs to extend the time available to
answer your request. MBIE’s response will be sent to you no later than 28 February 2024.
The reason for the extension is that your request necessitates a search through a large quantity of
information and meeting the original time limit would unreasonably interfere with our operations.
Please note that we are currently experiencing high volumes of demand for information about this
subject, and this has meant that more time is being taken to provide responses to requests for
information than in normal circumstances.
