Thank you for your email of 28 November 2023 requesting the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
I would like to request the most recent papers produced by NZTA on proposals for a Petone-
Grenada motorway, including the route, cost estimates, time frame estimates etc.  If there is a 
document that sets out the history of the project/proposal, that would really useful too. 
 
(I don't know how NZTA structures its decision making, so i can't be specific as to what kind of 
papers, but I'm expecting management or project reports, or reports to government, and not 
interested in correspondence etc)

Please note that the project was re-evaluated in 2019 and the decision was that the project would not 
proceed at that time but would be considered for funding in the future. You can subscribe for updates
