Thank you for your email on 4 December 2023, asking for the following under the Official Information
Act 1982 (the Act):
“Under the OIA a request document that show how the lived experience and consumer voice
is involved (as per the HQSC code of expectations) when contracts are
made/amended/signed/rolled over within NGO providers within the bay of plenty region”
A Bay of Plenty specific document referencing the HQSC code of expectations has not been
developed. Under the health reforms, policy and guidance development and implementation wil be
managed at the regional level. This piece of work wil commence in 2024 as the new commissioning
operating model is bedded in.
