Thank you for your email of 4 December 2023 to the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment 
requesting, under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following: 
 
Please advise the number of RV2021 applications stil  being processed as at 4 December 2023 
and the number of immigration officers allocated to these applications. 
 
Our Response 
 
As  at  4  December  2023,  there  were  772  2021  Resident Visa applications  in  progress.  This  includes 
allocated and non-allocated applications. As at 4 December 2023, there were six immigration officers 
allocated  to  processing  the  remaining  2021  Resident Visa applications.  Staff resourcing has been 
modified in response to reduction in the volume of these visa applications. This category is no longer 
open for submission and on-hand applications are allocated to experienced immigration officers.
