I refer to your request for official information of 7 December 2023 as follows:  
1.  The minimum and median GPA of students who were on the Pro Vice-Chancellor's 
List for Academic Excellence in 2020, 2021 and 2022. 
2.  The total number of students, the minimum and median GPAs by degree. 
The University of Waikato (University) has given due consideration to your request and 
provides the attached information. 
The University has withheld information under section 9 (2) (a) of the Official 
Information Act 1982 to protect the privacy of those  persons  in  degree programmes 
where only one person is listed. 
You have the right to seek an investigation and review by the Ombudsman of this
