Response to your request for official information
Thank you for your follow up request under the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) to the
Ministry of Health - Manatū Hauora (the Ministry) on 2 February 2024 for:
“ Your reply only covers a couple of batch lots. I understand there are over 50 batch lots.
Where are the satisfying conditions for all the batches please? “
As referenced in the gazette notice referenced in your previous request, there were certain
conditions that needed to be met as part of the provisional consent . One condition was that
OSCBAR certificates were required to be provided on request. Medsafe requested OSCBAR
certificates for the first three batches that were distributed in New Zealand. These have been
released to you under OIA H2023033891. Medsafe did not request further OSCBAR certificates.
Therefore, your request is refused under 18(g)(i) of the Act, as the information requested is not
held by the Ministry and there are no grounds for believing it is held by another agency subject
to the Act.
