Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 
Re: ATEED position in London 
 
I refer to your email, which we received on 22 February 2015, requesting information about 
the ATEED position in London. 
 
Under section 14 of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, 
(LGOIMA) Auckland Council is extending the time limit for responding to your request.  We 
will reply to your request by 13 April 2015. 
 
The reason for this extension is: 
 
  the request is for a large quantity of official information or necessitates a search 
through a large quantity of information and meeting the original time limit would 
unreasonably interfere with the operations of the local authority; and 
 
  consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a proper 
response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.  
 
You have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA to make a complaint to 
the Office of the Ombudsmen about this extension.
