Re: Access to property records 
 
I refer to your email, requesting information about who has accessed the property records at 
6 Waipuia Place, Greenhithe in the past three years. 
 
I apologise for the delay in responding to your request. I can confirm the property record of 6 
Waipuia  Place,  Greenhithe  has  been  accessed  three  times  since  2012  on  the  following 
dates; 
 
  3/08/2012  
  24/09/2013  
  25/02/2015  
 
I am unable to release the names of the people who have accessed the property file as we 
have an obligation to keep people’s personal information private under the Privacy Act 1993 
(Section 6, Principles 11 and Section 29).

Should you believe Auckland Council has not responded appropriately to your request, you 
have  the  right  by  way  of  complaint,  under  section  27(3)  of  the  LGOIMA,  to  apply  to  the 
Ombudsmen to seek an investigation and review of the decision.
