Subject: Interim Chair of PHARMAC
Hi Rachel
OFFICIAL
With the relatively suddenly departure of Steve Maharey I assumed the Interim Chair role on Friday, and chaired (on Friday)
the final Board meeting for 2023.
THE
I wanted to reach out to Minister Seymour and firstly pass on my congratulations to him and also to let him know that I am
keen to support him in delivering his expectations for Pharmac in my role as Interim Chair.
I am looking forward to meeting him at his convenience, and thought I would let you know my contact details and also the
dates that might work in the lead up to Christmas.
UNDER
My personal email is as above -
s 9(2)(a)
My cellphone is s 9(2)(a)
Unfortunately I would normally have anticipated being fully available to the Minister but I have previously committed to s 9(2)(a)
I will be out of contact while s 9(2)(a)
from Wednesday the 7th December to the 11th, and the 14th to the 17th.
RELEASED
I am certainly available to meet anytime in the week leading up to Christmas (beginning the 18th), and could if needed also
be face to face on the afternoon of the 12th or the morning of the 13th.
I apologise for my restricted availability.
Please let me know if I can do anything to support the Minister at this time.
Warmest regards
Peter
