We refer to your official information request dated 29 December 2023 for the following
information:
I would like the following information.
1 how many people have their drone registered with AIRSHARE and use it to report
fl ights
We currently have:
• 51,314 active users registered in AirShare.
• 33,910 drones registered in Airshare.
• In the last 12 months, a total of 54,458 flights were registered in AirShare.
It is important to note that pilots can register multiple drones under their profiles with
Airshare.
2 how many incidents has there been involving unmanned aircraft and manned
aircraft.
Unfortunately, we are unable to provide specific information on incidents involving
unmanned and manned aircraft at this time. We had requested additional details regarding
the time period or location of your inquiry to better tailor our response. Since we have not
received further clarification, your request is refused under s18(f) as it cannot be fulfilled
without substantial collation or research.
