Thank you for your request made via email dated 9 January 2024 in which you requested
the following: I would like to request the following information: 1. The date, time and location of your initial meeting with the new Minister for your department; 2. A list of attendees at this meeting 3. The cost of any flights and accommodation for staff who reside outside of wellington to attend this meeting 4. Any documentation provided at the meeting 5. All notes (including handwritten notes) taken at the meeting by department staff; 6. A copy of any emails sent by department attendees or all staff communications regarding the meeting with the new Minister. 7. your initial briefing document sent to the new Minister.
We have considered your request under the OIA. Information not being released
A meeting with the incoming Minister has not yet been arranged. As such there is no
information available in relation to requests 1-6. Information requiring further consultation
As our Briefing to the Incoming Minister has been provided to the Minister’s office, we will
need to consult on release of it to you as per request 7. We will let you know if an extension
is required to complete the consultation process.
