Thank you for your correspondence of 16 January 2024 to Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for
Children (Oranga Tamariki), requesting the fol owing information under the Official Information
Act 1982 (the Act):
This is an OIA request for materials cited in recent briefings to your minister.
The government's 100 day agenda includes responding to 'serious youth offending'.
I understand that the briefings themselves are currently confidential. I am only requesting
a list of the materials used/referenced in these 100 day briefings on serious youth
offending.
That is, I am requesting the 'bibliography' for these briefings and, if available, links or
attachments to the materials.
The consultations necessary to make a decision on this request are such that a proper
response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit. For this reason, I am
extending the time limit for providing you with the information to 13 March 2024 in accordance
with section 15A(1)(b) of the Act. We wil try to respond sooner than this date if possible.
