I refer to your request to the Department of Conservation, received on 18 January 2024, in 
which you asked: 
 
On or about 29 May 2023 MBIE transferred DOIA 2223-2859 to DOC.  
Please supply the DOC response to this request. 
 
We have considered your request under the Official Information Act 1982 (OIA).  
 
The OIA request referred to in your correspondence was transferred to the Department on  
13 June 2023, and subsequently withdrawn by the requester. As such, no OIA response was 
prepared. Your request is accordingly refused under section 18(e) of the OIA, as the OIA 
response does not exist.  
 
You are entitled to seek an investigation and review of my decision by writing to an 
Ombudsman as provided by section 28(3) of the OIA.
