I refer to your information request dated 18 January 2024 made under the Official Information Act 
1982 (the Act). You have requested: 
 
“What date has second round offers from the waitlist been released for Dentistry and Medicine 
via the HSFY General category in the past 5 years?” 
 
Subject to the following comments, please see below our response to your request. 
 
•  Please note that there is no “second round” of offers – rather, it is a gradual release of offers 
following the initial release of offers. Reasons why applicants may receive offers following 
initial release include being on the waitlist, waiting for academic results to become 
available/be finalised, or waiting for outcomes of special consideration outcomes or special 
examinations. 
 
•  On this basis, please see the below table which shows the date range of offers being released 
following the initial release of offers each year for the 2019 – 2023 Bachelor of Medicine and 
Bachelor of Surgery (MB ChB) and Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) programmes via the
