Thank you for your email of 19 January 2024 to Kāinga Ora – Homes and Communities requesting the 
following information under the Of icial Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
Has Kāinga Ora investigated any corruption or allegations of such conduct regarding 
contractors and Kainga Ora staff accepting bribes or attempted bribe payments or similar for 
working on Kainga-Ora homes in the past 3 years? If so, please release the details of these 
incidents and the action taken. 
 
I can confirm that our investigators have not completed any investigations into any corruption, 
regarding Kāinga Ora staff or contractors accepting bribes, or attempted bribe payments (or similar) in 
relation to their work on Kāinga Ora homes in the last three years.
