Official Information Act request: Treaty Principles Bil  
 
Thank you for your email of 23 January 2024 requesting, under the Official Information Act 
1982 (the Act), information relating to the budget for the Treaty Principles Bill (the Bill). 
Specifically, you requested: 
  1.  if there is a budget for the bil 
2.  how much is budgeted for the bil  
3.  if contractors have been employed since 20 November 2023 to work on the Bil  the 
number of contractors and cost to date of the contractors working on the bil  
 
No budget has been set for the Bil  and no contractors have been employed to work on it. 
Any costs incurred to date have been absorbed in the Ministry’s baseline funding.
