Official Information request: Visa Application Process for Iranian Nationals 
 
I refer to your Official Information Act 1982 (the Act) request received on 13 March 2024, to 
the Ministry for Ethnic Communities (The Ministry), for information pertaining to the Visa 
Application Process for Iranian Nationals. 
 
The Ministry does not hold or track information for any part of your request. As such, we 
would look to transfer your request to the Ministry for Business Innovation and Employment 
(MBIE) under section 14(b)(i) of the Act: 
 
As the information, to which the request relates is not held by the department but is 
believed by the person dealing with the request to be held with another department.
