I refer to your official information request dated 19 March 2024 for any communications,
agreements, or collaborations between the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), New Zealand Aviation
Security Service (NZAS), and any New Zealand agency that would receive or disseminate information
contained in the document titled "Joint-Chiefs-UAP-Directive-May-2023.
1. We made inquiries within the CAA, and we advise that we do not hold the information that you
have requested. CAA has not received a copy of the document you have referenced in your
request.
2. I am therefore refusing your request under section 18(g) of the OIA because the information is
not held.
