Re: Acquisition of land for Waterloo Park Reserve
Thank you for your email dated 27 March 2024, in which you requested information about the
acquisition of land for Waterloo Park Reserve. The specific details of your request and our
response are below.
Please provide all available information relating to the acquisition of land for Waterloo
Park Reserve in Mil dale by Auckland Council. Confirming the land was acquired from
Fulton Hogan Land Development.
The decision relating to the acquisition of land for open space in Wainui was reached during
the closed section of the Environment and Community Committee meeting on 17th October
2017, resolution ENV/2017/150.
We have contacted yourself to refine and clarify the information you’re seeking, but not
received any reply. Due to the scope of the question and commercial constraints of the land
acquisition we are unable to provide all information as per your request under section 17(f)
of the Local Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987, as the information
requested cannot be made available without substantial collation or research.
We can confirm 25 Waiparaheka Drive, Upper Orewa (Lot 7005 Deposited Plan 595185)
and 10 Te Taruna Drive, Upper Orewa (Lot 7003 Deposited Plan 595185) have been
acquired from Fulton Hogan Land Development Limited and transferred and registered in the
name of Auckland Council as owner.
