Thank you for your email of 03 April 2024, asking for the following information under the Official 
Information Act 1982 (the Act): 
 
1.  Kindly present the documentation outlining the basis for your decision to terminate contracts with 
general psychologists. 
2.   Was this action requested by the New Zealand Psychologists Board (NZPB)?  If not, what prompted 
this decision, given that other psychologists and even counsellors maintain ongoing contracts with 
you? 
 
We are unable to provide the information requested 
ACC has not identified any instances where we have suspended a contract with a general psychologist. We 
are therefore refusing your request in full as the information does not exist. This decision has been made 
under section 18(e) of the Act. 
 
As this information may be of interest to other members of the public 
ACC may decide to release a copy of this response on ACC’s website. All requester data, including your
