River Managers’ SIG Champions 2 November Meeting Notes  
Ghassan re ICOLD/NZCOLD 17 Nov meeting invite to Ghassan and process with finalising 
of representative for ICOLD. Noted that Ramon Strong has been in contact re putting himself 
forward for consideration.  
Communications Update – 
 Noted that the Mid Term Report material 
nearly finalised as is the Communications & Engagement Plan Oct 2022-Oct 2023.

Year 5 Key Strategies/Priorities Updates/Actions needed   
RCEOs Group – Strategy Planning Meeting on 10 November. 
DIA 3 Waters Stormwater – Phillip Eyles finalising arrangements for a Regional Sector 
Technical Working Group, with an initial meeting likely 28 November. 
Rivers Conference 7–9 November, Lower Hutt -  a good opportunity to display the Mid Term 
Case Studies being prepared if these are ready in time. 
River Managers SIG Forum 9-10 March 2023 hosted by Otago. Planning underway. 
Mark Townsend has initiated liaison for the River Managers’ SIG with Maori SIG Nga 
Kairapu Convenor Kataraina O’Brien of BOPRC.

Co-investment Business Case 
Update discussion as progress, with the work being progressed with 
 Maven 
and Tonkin+Taylor. 
Included shared screen views of draft business case material being developed by Maven –
